Princess Da Don is a New Orleans artist whose story was built long before she ever stepped behind a microphone. Blending Southern soul, hip-hop, R&B, and the unmistakable spirit of New Orleans, she turns real-life experiences into music about survival, loyalty, loss, confidence, growth, and becoming the woman you were always meant to be.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Princess experienced struggles that eventually pushed her to leave everything familiar behind and start over in New York. The transition wasn’t easy. Moving from the South to New York meant rebuilding her life in an unfamiliar city while carrying the weight of everything she had already survived. But what could have broken her became part of what built her.
New York taught her independence, hustle, and how to survive when starting over feels impossible. New Orleans gave her the culture, soul, attitude, and authenticity that could never be taken out of her. Those two worlds helped create Princess Da Don.
After years of building a life as a mother, entrepreneur, community advocate, and professional, she made another fearless transition—this time into music. She stepped into the industry determined to show that dreams don’t have an expiration date and your past doesn’t get to decide how your story ends.
Her music represents the people who had to rebuild from the ground up. The ones who were counted out. The ones who discovered who was really in their corner when life got hard. That’s why loyalty remains at the center of her message:
